On behalf of the Philadelphia Business Travel Association, I would like to welcome you to our website!  If you are a guest visiting us for the first time, we invite you to join our chapter where you can learn about our programs, register for upcoming meetings and special events, and meet our members and officers.

 

Be sure to visit the NBTA link which is a gateway to all of the services and information of the National Business Travel Association of which the Philadelphia BTA is a member.  This link also provides details of the national travel education programs of the Institute for Business Travel Management.  Also, there are many other industry-related links, which provide our members with important travel information, resources, industry contacts and news.

 

Our goals include continuing to grow our chapter membership, provide tangible value through quality programs that will be beneficial to all attendees and the ongoing development of our website. Regular chapter meetings will include nationally renowned speakers addressing the latest industry trends, controversial issues and motivational topics.  We have also recently introduced social events in the form of casual "mixers" and last December debuted the highly successful Holiday Dinner and Silent Auction. We at the Philadelphia BTA are dedicated to providing our members with the knowledge, educational and networking opportunities and tools necessary to enhance their careers. Your success is vital to our future.

 

In September of 2008, PHL BTA elected a new Board of Directors, which I am privileged to lead as  President.  I invite you to visit the Contact Us area of our website and learn more about this remarkable leadership team.  I am very excited and honored to work with such a dynamic group of individuals.  As the chapter president, I am particularly focused on the scholarship programs available to our members through local fundraising and will be sharing more with you as progress is made towards this important initiative.
